A beautiful pair of late 18th to early 19th-century English Georgian solid brass nutcrackers. This highly collectible piece features a classic table-sized format, designed for elegant post-dinner use during the Georgian era.

CONDITION REPORT:

Offered in excellent, highly collectible antique condition. The cast brass has a fantastic deep color and has not been aggressively over-polished, preserving the gorgeous natural patina and original dark oxidation within the geometric teeth and handle grooving. The mechanical joint operates smoothly with no wobble. Crucially, the handle levers remain completely straight and robust, free from any of the historic bending or stress fractures commonly found on heavy-use brass tools.
