Vintage 1960s/early 70s Primstyle Rust-toned Mod Bohemian Academia Tapestry Longline Vest Waistcoat. Today we have this marvelous late 60s or early 70s (based on its tags it had to be made before 1972) waistcoat.  And what a waistcoat it is--part hippie,  part Renaissance lady, part fairy-tale pirate, all style,  this amazing piece would turn absolutely anything into a statement outfit. Despite its assertive, medieval-tapestry design (this vest is the opposite of forgettable) it actually works with any number of other pieces.  Throw it over a white t-shirt and jeans, and that classic fashion standby suddenly becomes a vivid, utterly unique look. Wear it as a top with tall boots and a micro-mini for ultimate mod vibes. It's shown here with the Vintage 1970s Feelin' Jazzie Tan High Waist Corduroy Boho Academia Split Skirt Culottes in a hippie-goes-to-the-Ivy-League arrangement, but for a piece with such a big personality, it's a surprisingly flexible layer. You could pair it with nearly anything (I suspect it wouldn't get along with lavender,  but I could be mistaken) and it would somehow work.
