Pair of vintage Jaguar E-Type / XKE roadster convertible hood/top hold-down straps.

These came with paperwork/packaging from Welsh Jaguar Enterprises of Steubenville, Ohio dated January 2, 1987. Welsh Jaguar was a longtime specialist supplier of Jaguar replacement and reproduction parts.

Leather straps feature Lift-the-Dot fasteners at one end and metal securing hooks at the opposite end.

Believed to correspond to Jaguar part BD20660, used to secure the folded convertible hood/top on Series 1 and Series 2 E-Type/XKE roadsters.

These are vintage 1987 replacement parts and are not being represented as original 1960s factory-installed pieces.
