This original programme advertises a full series of Escape events across Swansea and Cardiff during October.

The line-ups include major names from the UK, Ibiza and international house scenes, including:

with resident and guest DJs every Saturday from 6pm–9pm.

This makes the item an interesting piece of Welsh dance-music history beyond simply advertising an individual club night.

Original Period Programme

Unlike a flyer advertising just one event, this piece documents a run of Escape Swansea and Escape Cardiff club nights and their guest DJs.

It is a great snapshot of the Welsh house scene during the late 1990s, when major international and UK DJs were regularly appearing at clubs across South Wales.

Personal Provenance

I personally collected this during my clubbing days in the 1990s.

It has remained in my possession ever since.

The tickets, programmes, flyers and promotional items I am currently listing come directly from my own original clubbing collection.

They were collected by me while actually attending clubs and events during the period and have not been subsequently purchased online or assembled as a memorabilia collection.

Condition

Original used condition.

There are visible original folds/creases together with general age-related handling, marks and edge/corner wear.

The item remains substantially complete and the important artwork, venue details, dates and DJ information are clearly readable.
