An unusual natural banded chert/flint specimen displaying striking cream, terracotta and reddish-brown colouration.

The piece features a pale cream to grey microcrystalline silica-rich centre surrounded by contrasting rusty red, brown and ochre areas, likely produced by natural iron-oxide staining and weathering. Distinct darker bands form around the lighter interior, giving the specimen an attractive layered appearance.

One surface shows a smoother freshly exposed interior, while other areas retain the more weathered natural outer material.
