A striking natural mineral specimen featuring highly reflective steel-grey specular hematite crystals across a contrasting reddish-brown iron-rich matrix.

The hematite displays an attractive metallic lustre with numerous fine bladed and platy crystal formations, creating a wonderfully sparkly surface as the specimen is moved under the light. Small areas of pale mineralisation are also visible within the matrix, adding further texture and interest.
