For your consideration, a decent London mint variety of the famous Maria Theresa Thaler, re-struck posthumously during 1940-1942 at the Bombay mint, India.

 

During World War II, the Bombay Mint struck roughly 18 to 19 million Maria Theresa thalers dated 1780 because Great Britain needed a trusted silver coin to pay local forces and finance military operations to drive Italian forces out of East Africa and Ethiopia.

 

Maria Theresa (German: Maria Theresia, see also other languages; May 13, 1717 – November 29, 1780) was a reigning Archduchess of Austria, a Queen of Hungary and Bohemia, and a Holy Roman Empress.
