documented at CBG Den Haag is a Cornelis van Gelder,

Cornelis van Gelder was in 1618 member of the city council / Heeren Raaden in de Vroedschap of Haarlem (see print)

circa 1642 a member of the civic guard Sint-Jorisdoelen of Haarlem (see painting)

 one of the Mayors of Haarlem in 1650 and 1655,

made of wood and bronze, as coat of arms we see an early 18th Century shaped shield, with

in gold / Or a wavy blue / Azure horizontal bar, accompagnied by three ducks and above that a French lily / fleurs-de-lis,

length: circa 7,5 cm / circa 2.9 inch,

weight: circa 22 gr.

condition: firm and stable, signs of frequent use,
