Rare Solingen Cutlery carbon steel boning knife, in storage from the 1960’s. It features a 5” wide blade with pointed tip.

The contoured hard wood handle is held together with 3 rivets.

The tang is smooth. A few light specks on blade (shown in pics), but the stiff blade is sharp and is in excellent condition for a knife of this age.

The blade is engraved with “SOLINGEN CUTLERY” over “SOLINGEN GERMANY”.

Overall length is 10”.

There is some oxidation on both sides of the knife heel(as shown in pics), as well as tang. Overall, it is in nice shape with a sharp blade and a comfortable, tight handle.

This is a high quality Solingen German knife.

The carbon steel blade requires immediate thorough drying after washing to prevent rust.

A true collectible that would be a great kitchen tool for the sportsman, butcher or cook.
