Genuine Norton Steel Fuel Petrol Tank Commando Roadster 850
Comes with a fuel cap, rubber / metal seal disk and spring. I am not sure how it attaches, maybe a nut or weld, not sure.
Norton Commando Roadster tank which should fit 850cc Roadsters from 1973 onwards. Good heavy gauge steel on these.
Appears to be part # 06-2701 Roadster tank.
The underside of the tank is has CFQ 1973, probably stands for Commando Fastback 1973. Research or ask questions to make a final determination.
Some surface rust on the inside. I've had many similar tanks and used Evapo-Rust to remove the rust and sealed it with Red Kote sealer. They all ran perfect for years with no rust issues.
