A late 19th century African Congo executioners sickle sword from the Ngala, Ngombe or Doko tribes also used as a symbol for a chieftain, 18 inch (47cm) sickle shaped blade sharpened on the outer edge,  covered all over with incised decoration, carved wooden handle set with furniture tacks, some loss.
