OVERVIEW

An important reference in the history of the GMT-Master, the Rolex 16760 was the first GMT-Master II and introduced the independently adjustable hour hand that distinguishes the collection. Nicknamed the “Fat Lady” or “Sophia Loren” for its thicker case and crown guards, the reference was produced for only a relatively short period and was exclusively paired with the now-iconic red and black “Coke” bezel. This circa 1986 example displays attractive vintage patina and is presented in pre-owned excellent condition with its original Rolex box.
