The latest Tournament Basia introduces a redesigned 45 mm Ultra Big Pit spool, combined with Daiwa’s Slow Cross Wrap (SCW) system and optimized Long Cast spool edge for smooth line release and outstanding long-distance casting performance.
Both the body and the new AIRDRIVE ROTOR are constructed from Daiwa’s exclusive ZAION carbon composite, providing exceptional rigidity while keeping the reel extremely light at just 515 g. Reduced rotational inertia gives the reel an incredibly smooth, responsive and balanced feel.
For demanding saltwater conditions, MAGSEALED technology helps protect the internal mechanism against saltwater and contamination, while the precision TOUGH DIGIGEAR drivetrain delivers powerful and exceptionally smooth retrieval.
