I have no knowledge of this item,
I loved it and purchased it.
What i do know:
It has some dings round the foot.
Its hand painted.

I wanted to point this to the correct collectors so i googled as much as i could without any luck.
But below are a couple of suggestions.

hand-painted pitcher is an example of traditional Slovak folk art majolica produced in the town of Modra, Slovakia.Key Characteristics & OriginsStyle and Heritage: This piece carries the classic aesthetic of Slovenská ľudová majolika (Slovak Folk Majolica). The region's style heavily relies on a historical tin-glazed pottery process tracing back to 16th and 17th-century Haban workshop traditions.Distinct Elements: The vessel is a traditional lidded beer stein or wine jug featuring a characteristic pewter lid thumb-piece assembly attached to the ceramic handle. Unlike the more common brightly colored floral patterns from Modra, this specific motif features a rarer, charming scenic depiction of a palm tree behind a rustic picket fence, bracketed by classic brown sponge-brushed leaf highlights.Materials: It is crafted out of red clay, covered with an opaque white glaze, hand-painted with metal oxide pigments, and fired to create a glossy, colorful finish.

This is an antique European pewter-lidded polychrome faience Birnkrug (pear-shaped jug), likely originating from Gmunden, Austria, dating from the 19th century.

I dont believe it is as early as the 19th century. I think the pewter would be darker although i do believe it has some age to it.
I would be interested to know any info if anyone knows anything about this i would love to know. I also have no idea of price so ill put this up as an auction, let me know if you think this is a reasonable auction price.
