This bawdy rom-com follows the trials and tribs of Billy Wishbone, 27, an award-winning Chicago sandwich man who moves to Tokyo to help open a Kosher-style deli only to discover, among other surprises, that the pastrami comes in a squeeze tube and the hot dogs contain powdered whale meat.

On the long flight to Tokyo, Billy “borrows” a Japanese girlie magazine from his seatmate and instantly falls in love with a gorgeous young model in five increasing stages of undress. So smitten by these photos, Billy vows, despite the staggering odds, to find this woman in the world’s most populous city.

Frustrated by his lack of progress with both endeavors, Billy decides to break a few rules and take matters into his own hands.
