Up for sale is a rare late 19th-century silver-plated sugar box / casket crafted by the renowned Fraget factory in Warsaw (Imperial Russian period).

Features a classic rectangular body raised on four ornate feet, a hinged lid decorated with a heavy raised relief of grapes and flowers, and an internal lock mechanism.

Hallmarks & Stamping:

• Factory stamp: Oval stamp "FRAGET W WARSZAWIE"

• Quality & Material marks: "N" (Neusilber / Alpaca base) and "GALW." (Galvanized silverplate)

• Russian Imperial Eagle coat of arms

• Stamped model/part number "88" on the lock plate

Condition: Great authentic antique condition! Shows deep, rich vintage patina with natural surface scuffs and areas of plating wear exposing the base metal.
