Up for sale is a METER Group AquaLab 4TE benchtop water activity meter — the industry-standard chilled-mirror dew point instrument used by the majority of top food and pharmaceutical companies for FSMA/FDA water activity (aw) compliance testing. This is the newest AquaLab 4 platform (AL400-series serial number, made in Pullman, WA, USA) — not the older gray Decagon-era Series 3 or 4 units commonly seen on the used market.

This unit cost $12,500 new and has been meticulously maintained, with calibration verification performed twice per year, always spot on. It comes from a small, single-product protein bar manufacturing facility where it was used for routine QA testing only — very light duty compared to a contract lab, used 2-3 time a month! Powers on, reads, and verifies correctly. The sample chamber, chilled mirror block, and sealing o-ring are clean with no sample contamination or corrosion (see photos).
