Trix TTR 1108 OO Gauge BR E2 0-6-0 Non Running Motorised Chassis For Restoration.

This Trix Twin E2 0-6-0 Chassis appears to have a good running motor when its out of the chassis, and a free running chassis with the motor out. Mate them up and it won’t run, even when power is applied direct to the brushes.

So I don’t know if the magnet needs re-magnetising, or if the worm gear is set wrong and not synching with the worm wheel, or if it’s something else altogether.

It looks very clean and corrosion free otherwise, and physically in very good condition. It has 2 couplings but only one fixing screw with it.

It requires someone who’s familiar with Trix locos and their faults and inclinations, and hopefully it’s an easy problem for them to resolve. Unboxed. A non running motorised chassis, sold for spares, repairs or restoration.
