Charming set of six miniature 4-inch porcelain bird plates by J.K.W. Bavaria, produced in Western Germany between the 1950s and 1970s. Each plate features a detailed transfer-printed ornithological illustration with hand-applied color accents, framed by a bright gilt rim. These small-format cabinet plates were designed for curio displays and are more uncommon than standard 8–9" decorative plates. All plates carry the correct J.K.W. Bavaria Western Germany backstamp. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Gilt rims show minimal vintage wear. A highly collectible mid-century European porcelain set ideal for curio cabinets or wall groupings.
