A great vintage Ex- Mouseman carver Wilf `squirrelman` Hutchinson carved oak fruit bowl.

Wilf ‘Squirrelman’ Hutchinson (1936-2013) is an ex Mouseman craftsman who started his apprenticeship with Robert Thompson in 1951, 

This bowl is carved from 1 piece of English oak and features the signature carved squirrel on the interior of the bowl. Hand adzed exterior & interior in a  lovely warm medium/dark golden oak colour and super oak markings .

Some signs of use but in remarkable condition given its age and utility.

This is a highly collectable piece with great function  &  frequently hard to find in this condition.

27cm diameter x 7cm high. sizes approx. as hand made.
