Voici le « Talking View-master Electronic 3-D Viewer » accompagné de son
set de "Michael Jackson's Thriller Cartridges" sorti en 1984. Il
s'agit d’un sublime collector officiel contenant un appareil électronique
permettant de lire 3 disques. Sur chacun d'eux sont incrustés des
mini-diapositives extraites du clip « Thriller » ainsi qu'une bande
sonore. Pour s'en servir, il suffit de glisser à l'intérieur de l'appareil l'un
des disques et de regarder en se tournant vers la lumière. Comme par
magie les images du clip « Thriller » apparaissent en 3D avec le son
du clip original en bonne qualité (musique, voix de Michael, bruits des
zombies...) ! Notez que Michael, lui-même collectionneur depuis son enfance de
cartes "Viewmaster", a personnellement participé au choix des images
reproduites sur ces cartes.
L'appareil nécessite 4 piles R6 (non incluses). A noter qu'il peut également fonctionner avec un adaptateur secteur de 6V (ici inclus). Cartes, écouteur et instructions inclus. Packaging d'origine abîmé (voir photos).
Complet, EN BON ETAT DE FONCTIONNEMENT (images +
son) ce qui est extrêmement rare pour ce collector ayant plus de 40 ans !

As a youngster, Michael
Jackson loved his View Master 3-D Viewer. Michael, who saw his first
View-Master 3-D picture at the age of 5, later became an avid collector of
viewers and reels. This interest in 3-D eventually brought Michael and
View-Master together at strategic points in both the singer's career and the
company's history. During the filming of THRILLER, from the 400 photographs
shot, 21 superb View-Master 3-D scenes were personally approved by Michael
Jackson, many of which are not available on the "Thriller" video. Michael,
working with his producers and View-Master photographers, created unique 3-D
shots that couldn't be duplicated by any two-dimensional film effort.
This auction is for a used "Talking View-master Electronic 3-D Viewer" featuring MICHAEL JACKSON'S THRILLER. It is a LIMITED EDITION from 1984. It comes with the full set of 3 Cartridges
containing 21 3-D pictures with sound. A microprocessor-controlled unit
within the viewer reproduces high-quality sound. Operates on 4 AA bateries (not included) or with an AC
adapter (included). Instructions and earphone included. The packaging shows some wear (see pictures).
Complete, in GOOD WORKING CONDITION (images + sound) which is extremely rare !!!
