This Vivax-Metrotech VX200-4 is a multi-frequency utility-locating transmitter designed for tracing buried conductive cables, pipes and other underground utilities with a compatible Vivax-Metrotech receiver.

The VX200-4 supports direct connection, inductive signal application and operation with a compatible signal clamp. Standard North American direct-connect frequencies include 512 Hz, 8 kHz, 33 kHz and 65 kHz, with certain regional configurations also supporting 83.1 kHz or 200 kHz. The digital display provides operating information including selected frequency, output current, voltage, resistance, connection mode and battery status.

USED – TESTED WORKING. The transmitter powers on properly, the LCD is readable and the front-panel controls respond. It is shown operating at 65.5 kHz in the photos. The unit has substantial field wear, including scratches, scuffs, stains, paint marks and worn or damaged rubber material along the carrying handle.

This listing includes the Vivax-Metrotech VX200-4 transmitter only. A receiver, direct-connect leads, ground stake, signal clamp, carrying case and other accessories are not included.

Ideal as a replacement or additional transmitter for utility-locating contractors, municipalities, excavation crews and technicians already using compatible Vivax-Metrotech vLoc equipment.
