1940-1945 Volkswagen Kubelwagen
Type 82 German Military Vehicle
Retired model
1940 Volkswagen Kübelwagen (short for Kübelsitzwagen, meaning bucket-seat car) was a military vehicle designed by Ferdinand Porsche and built by Volkswagen during World War II for use by the Germn military (both Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS). Based heavily on the Volkswagen Beetle, it was prototyped as the Type 62, but eventually became known internally as the Type 82. Amazing detail with authentic markings make this model a true piece of miniature military automotive art. This die-cast model was by Johnny Lightning Adult Collectibles. Matte Gray finish with Maltese Cross along with a tan convertible top and a gray interior. Amazing life-like detail in a miniature size. All riding on real rubber tires mounted on a set of factory style gray wheels. Another work of miniature automotive art.
