The 1972 Guernsey “Elizabeth and Philip” Silver Wedding 25 Pence Crown was issued to commemorate the 25th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip (married in 1947). It was struck in two versions:

Cupro-nickel (standard issue) mintage of 56,000.
