A great original Prohibition doctor's prescription stub for Frumenti, the US pharmaceutical term for Whiskey...Zxvi (pint)....Senile Weakness! This stub was retained by the doctor and was open to inspection by Federal Officers! Please see photo!

The whiskey was prescribed for Mr. E. B. Cantrell, by Dr. Ellinwood, of San Francisco, CA on November 8, 1930. It was issued by the Treasury Department and when held to the light, PROHIBITION is partially watermarked.
The prescription stub measures 4 1/2" by 3", has light bends, otherwise, condition is excellent...a great ditty from the Prohibition!
This is a FANTASTIC piece of history and would be great to display in a pharmacy, wine cellar, distillery, museum, bar or office! Also a great gift or an addition to a collection of pharmacy, medicine, US currency, Alcoholics Anonymous, Capone, 1920s, bar, Americana, stamps and DEA items!
