TOPENS TC188 Keyless Entry Universal Keypad

Simply enter a short password to open the gate without carrying a key. Enhance security with this keypad for keyless operation. TC188 can be powered by the 9VDC carbon battery (incl.), or the control board of the gate opener, or by the external 9-30VAC / DC power source.

Two Modes for Your Choice

Wireless Mode

• In this mode, under ideal condition (no signal interference), one TC188 keypad can operate countless gate openers synchronously.
• If you need to control the gate openers separately, one keypad is allowed to access up to two swing gate openers respectively, or one sliding gate opener.

Wired Mode

• The wired mode is recommended for locations where frequency interference is occurred or where the control box is installed far away from the gate operator.
• In this mode, one TC188 keypad only connects to one gate opener.
• One gate opener can connect with at most two keypads in parallel.

1. Flexible Installation

   
   
   • You can add this keypad on the entrance, exit, or both sides of the gate.
   • Optionally choose either wireless or wired connection mode according to your needs.
   • Generally, the distance between the keypad and the control box of the gate opener should be within 35 feet (10 m).
   • It is NOT suggested to position the keypad near any metal structure, in order to avoid the signal frequency interference.

2. Multiple Applications

   
   
   • This keypad is suitable for the household, courtyard, farm, ranch, warehouse and other commercial / industrial sites.
   • The TC188 keypad works excellently with all the TOPENS gate openers and most third party swing / sliding gate openers or garage door openers.
   • Pay attention to the compatibility check instruction before connecting with the third party gate opener or garage door opener.

3. Share Your Access with Family and Friends

   
   
   • Supports up to 64 individual sets of 4-digit access codes, including the temporary and permanent codes.
   • It brings high convenience for controlled access, making an easy way for family and friends to access the gate opener system.

4. Weather-resistant for Outdoor Use

   
   
   • Made of high-quality heat-resistant material, the keypad is suitable for outdoor use, and works in excessively heat, cold and humid environment.
   • Solid housing offers stable protection and promises a long-lasting performance.

5. For Other Brands' Gate Openers

   
   
   • Compatible with most third party swing / sliding gate opener or garage door opener whose control board accepts “Normally Open Dry Contact” signal.
   • On wireless mode, for the third party gate opener, connect TOPENS ERM12 External Receiver (not incl.) to the control panel, and then program TC188 with ERM12.
   • Kindly note that this keypad works with the gate / garage door openers only, and does not support other door access control system.
