In this listing; you are purchasing an official Topps Transcendent Shohei Ohtani rookie card fashioned after cards designed for the 1970 Topps regular edition set.  This particular card is gold stamped #11/50.

 

Regarding Shoehi Ohtani; my 2019 Topps Transcendent cards represent 1 (not specifically the #1) of only 50 gold stamped rookie cards produced for this highly limited/ultra premium baseball card set which was distributed to guests at the April 2019 Los Angeles Topps Transcendent VIP Party honoring the 2018 MLB American League Rookie of the Year.  Each card has a gold colored stamping representing its unique number out of the 50 total cards produced for each year issued in the Topps throwback sets ranging from 1952 thru 2018.  If you are interested in finding specific numbers; such as #17 of 50 (Ohtani’s Jersey Number; and THEE Number of highest honor in all of Japanese baseball); or perhaps the statistically significant #50 of 50 in this set, send a message and I might be able to help you find what you are looking for.  I personally enjoy collecting these VIP Through the Years cards; since they are not only very limited numbered official rookie editions of my two favorite baseball players; but they also depict how these players might have appeared on the colorful throwback Topps cards produced throughout the years, most notably throughout the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s … specifically the time when sports trading cards served as forms of uniquely nostalgic artwork!
