ITEM DESCRIPTION – A handsome and well presevered Parker Super Bruyere pipe with Patent numbers that date this Dunhill made Parker back to 1947! This pipe has been professionally cleaned and the tobacco chamber is clean and solid and the stem has no bite marks.

Parker smoking pipes were made for the Parker Pipe Company, which began in 1923 by Dunhill in London.The patent numbers stamped on vintage Parker pipes correspond to the brand's proprietary "Inner-Tube" mechanism (an aluminum tube/stinger inside the stem). Most stamped vintage Parker pipes, including this one, feature "Patent No. 116989/17," and the number 22 indicates year 1947 production. 

STAMPED: The nomenclature remains very clear and readable, 13/F, Parker Super Bruyere is stampled on the left side of the shank. On the right side is stamped, Made in London, England 22 and patent number 116989/17.
