Triang R408 OO Gauge Motorised Turntable Requiring (Light) Restoration Boxed.

This Triang R408 electrically operated 3-Road Turntable, has a damaged shed / hut to cover the motor and operating mechanism (photo 15), the 2 side power terminals are separated from their cables (photo 17), but the copper terminals and plastic holder are included and require soldering / refixing (photo 16, there’s also a spring shown with them, but I don’t know what that’s for).

Wired directly the turntable runs and operates fine, except for when turning clockwise, the motor end of the turntable stops about 4 mm before, and out of line with the first road, lines up exactly right with the centre road, then 4 mm short of the 3rd road briefly before going on to line up accurately. Turning anticlockwise, it stalls at the centre road. Slightly odd, but hopefully it’s just a case of cleaning and lubricating.

The box has a bashed about lid, with 4 split corners, all 4 interior corner pieces are present, and the base is in good+ condition overall, with only light wear and 4 good corners.

So 2 wires that need re-attaching, and a road that doesn’t quite line up with one end for whatever reason. Sold for spares, repairs or restoration. Please see photos for full description and condition.
