Ford has never officially manufactured the modern Shelby GT500 in RIGHT HAND DRIVE from the factory.  For enthusiasts in RHD countries like Australia and the UK, these cars must be imported and undergo specialized, aftermarket RHD conversions by authorized Custom Shops.  Because the GT500 is entirely hand converted, RHD models carry a massive premium, often pushing the final cost to nearly double the original U.S. MSRP.  The conversion process requires pulling the engine, installing a new firewall, and meticulously relocating the steering and brake racks.  In Australia, MUSTANG MOTORSPORT handles the complete turn-key import and RHD conversions for the latest generation (2020+)  Shelby GT500s.  A converted model there can cost upwards of AUD $245,000 to $255,000+, or around USD $165,000 depending on the options and build level.
