Description:
An imperforate Italy 1863 Victor Emmanuel II definitive, 15 Centesimi in Blue, showing the classic left-facing embossed-style royal profile within an oval frame and inscriptions reading POSTALE, FRANCO BOLLO ITALIANO and C. QUINDICI. The stamp has four visible margins, with the side margins closer than the top and bottom. The face is free from any obvious postal cancellation, while the reverse shows original gum with a clear hinge disturbance near the upper centre, making it mint hinged rather than never hinged. The colour remains presentable with some age-softening, and only minor tone specks or gum ageing are apparent from the images.
