Available for purchase is a rare and highly collectible deluxe multimedia box set by Mexico City-based architect, painter, and musician Lucio Muniain. Published by Arquine in 2019, this unique object beautifully integrates his three creative disciplines into a single curated collection.
The custom-designed cardboard slipcase housing includes:
1. A hardcover monograph volume detailing Muniain's work across 354 pages. It features an extensive collection of his distinctive black-and-white graphic drawings dating from 2001 to the present, alongside an academic overview highlighting 10 architectural competitions, 10 projects, and 10 completed works.
2. A built-in lower tray that securely nests the architectural book block beneath the vinyl record storage area.
3. Three 12-inch vinyl records featuring the improvisational music of his band, Another (composed of Manuel Moran on drums, Jair Laiter on guitar, and Lucio Muniain on double bass). The vinyl set includes selections from their albums "Start Here" and "Japanese Car" spread across the record sides (including Lado 1, Lado 4, and Lado 5).
