length of this technical brutal death metal band from Italy. 9 brand
new songs explore themes related to the Holy Inquisition, the
colonization and evangelization of the Americas, the massacres of the
indigenous American populations and the persecution of historical
figures who, with their science, gave their own lives in the pursuit
of a higher knowledge. Includes members of HOUR OF PENANCE, VOMIT THE
SOUL, INSTIGATE and more... Initially forged in 2009 as a side project
of Fleshgod Apocalypse, Italian Technical/Brutal Death Metallers
BLOODTRUTH now are composed by the following line-up: the vocalist
Luis Bejarano Cuentas Maggio, aka Luis Maggio (Sudden Death, ex
Necrosy), the guitarists Stefano Rossi Ciucci (Instigate, Vomit the
Soul) and Francesco Caponera (Deceptionist, Shadowthrone), the bassist
Riccardo Rogari (Instigate) and the drummer Giacomo Torti (Hour of
Penance, Scuorn, Ade), featuring the presence of Alessio Strano
(Astral Paralysis) as live guitarist. Fusing the cryptic atmosphere of
the early and roughest 90s Death Metal with the characteristics of
the most modern Technical Death Metal and evocative moments enriched
by Gregorian chants, Bloodtruth heave forth a sonic fire ball of
speed, brutality and unadulterated hatred. Over the years they shared
the stage with great bands such as Nile, Suffocation, Dark
Tranquillity, Fleshgod Apocalypse and many others and they released: a
three track promo ("Promo 2012" - self-produced), the well acclamed
first full lengths "Obedience" (2014 - Unique Leader Records) and
"Martyrium" (2018 - Unique Leader Records) and the three track EP "The
Walls of Oblivion" (2021 - Bloodblast Distribution). For fans of HOUR
