This authentic antique Japanese tsuba (sword guard) is believed to date from the Edo period and features an elegant gold inlay floral design.　
The base material is non-magnetic, likely copper or shakudo (gold-copper alloy) with a traditional black patina　

The design depicts traditional Japanese flowers and pampas grass, creating a graceful seasonal composition. The contrast between the dark iron ground and the delicate gold decoration highlights the refined craftsmanship of traditional Japanese sword fittings.
