Up for sale is an antique Ashmore percussion lock assembly in good condition. Includes the lock action parts and the hammer. Sold AS IS. I am no expert on these, but it appears to date to the early to mid 19th Century, and was likely made by the Ashmore family for export to America for use in a trade rifle or shotgun. The plate is about 4 5/8" long, not including the hammer. The hammer locks in place when pulled back and springs down properly. Review photos carefully for the condition of the internals. Feel free to message me with any questions or if there's something specific you would like me to check.
