English provincial mug, Newcastle, 1805 or 1829
This english sterling silver mug was made in Newcastle in either 1805 or 1829. The hallmarks are rubbed, so the maker's mark is indistinguishable. It has banded decoration, a few more bands than normally seen. It is in good overall condition, some wear to the banding.
Hallmarked (some are rubbed).
It measures 8cm high and weighs 163 grams.
