This is a great vintage piece from years gone by. A ball of twine fits inside it and the twine is pulled through the top. It's in good condition. It is missing the bottom cover but it will definitely function since you will never see the bottom. 

It measures 4 3/4 inches tall and 6 1/4 inches across the bottom.
