Unusual OOAK model Carnkie Redruth Mine Cornwall engine house 1880 - metal 10"
This item is a donation to Mountbatten Hospice, Isle of Wight.
We have not been able to find anything even similar to this model.  It is well made with some very neatly welded joints.
The structures have been lacquered to look like copper but a magnet sticks so it is all ferrous.
A black metal base has an engine house and chimney welded to it.
There are 2 piles of ore also very securely attached to the base.
Underneath the base is covered with Royal Blue felt.
Overall base measurements are 8" x 6½".  The chimney height is 10 inches.
Unpacked weight is 3.1 kg.
Royal Mail medium parcel.
