Vintage 1972 John Lennon and Yoko Ono "One to One" Concert Promotional Tambourine
Fresh from a Dallas estate comes this vintage concert promotional tambourine that was given to attendees at the John Lennon and Yoko One "One to One" benefit concert held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on August 30, 1972.
This tambourine features a white painted metal frame with 3 sets of jingles and the names of New York City bars, Friday's, Thursday's 24, Wednesday's, Tuesday's and Monday's, printed in black on the front.
The inside of this tambourine contains sayings from four of the bars and their locations, along with "What New York needs is a 4 day week." in black print in the center.
The drum measures approximately 6 1/2" across, 1 1/4" tall and the jingles measure approximately 1 3/8" across.
This item is in excellent vintage condition with some slight corrosion to the silver metal jingles, some wear around the edges and light scratches.
