"Magic Curl Barbie" #3856 is SuperStar era Barbie doll with "the permed look hair" that was manufactured for Mattel in Taiwan circa 1981-82.   She has "Gorgeous hair you can curl, straighten, curl again!  From fun to glamour looks and back!"  Both Barbie and her accessories appear unused in their original box as Barbie still remains tied to her liner and her accessories  still remain inside their baggies.  I believe that her box is unopened.  Her box sustains age related wear, corner rubs, and creasing.  Its plastic window is dinged and scuffed.  "Barbie gets a 'perm'--just like in a beauty parlor!" I purchased her from the estate of the original owner who, as a collector, had bought her directly from a retail store.
