From 1985 so of course they are used.  Box shows wear and discoloration, a few cards show some discoloration at edges.  Set is complete with both upper case and lower case alphabet.  Still includes two instruction cards with ideas of how to use the cards.

The cards are 5 x 7 so would even be cute to use to decorate a nursery.
