【Item Details】 You are looking at the Japan First Press Limited Edition Mini LP CD of "Rosie" by Fairport Convention — strictly limited to only 5,000 copies, part of Universal Music Japan's prestigious "Rock Legend Series / Limited Edition Paper Sleeve" series, featuring 2004 remastering.

This edition includes 5 bonus live tracks not present on the original LP release, includes full lyrics and Japanese translations, and is housed in a gorgeous mini LP paper sleeve faithfully replicating the original Island Records LP artwork, complete with the Japanese OBI STRIP (帯).

【About the Album】 "Rosie" is Fairport Convention's 8th studio album, released in 1973 on Island Records. Recorded at Sound Techniques, London, and produced by Trevor Lucas, it represents a key chapter in the evolution of British folk rock.

The album features the classic post-Sandy Denny lineup: the extraordinary fiddle virtuoso Dave Swarbrick, the underrated guitarist Jerry Donahue, the rhythm section of Davey Pegg and Dave Mattacks, and vocalist/guitarist Trevor Lucas.

Highlights include the warm, rollicking opener "Rosie," the traditional reel medley "The Hens March Through the Midden & The Four Poster Bed," the graceful "Me with You," and the quirky instrumental "Fits & Feathers."

Of special note: the album features guest appearances by two of British folk rock's greatest icons — Sandy Denny (vocals, Track 1) and Richard Thompson (electric & acoustic guitars, Track 1) — making it a must-have for fans of either artist.
