In parts:"Cher ami, j`ai une mauvaise nouvelle à vous donner car je n`ai pas pu mettre à exécution le projet que je caressais et que de bons amis avaient affirmé. Quand j`aurai le plaisir de vous voir je vous en dirai les raisons qui n`ont rien qui puisse vous gener: elles sont tout à fait étrangères à votre candidature. [...]" Translated:"Dear friend, I have some bad news for you, as I was unable to carry out the project I had been cherishing and which good friends had recommended.
