There is actually no specific 2024 Vertigo Edition of Absolute Transmetropolitan Vol. 3. Because DC Comics officially retired the standalone Vertigo imprint banner, the printing history for Volume 3 consists of two main editions:

The Original Vertigo Edition (2018): Published under the classic Vertigo imprint banner on November 13, 2018. It is long out of print and commands high prices on the secondary market.
The New Reprint Edition (2025): Released on February 25, 2025. While some retail listings retroactively reference it under a "DC Vertigo" or modern "DC Black Label" logotype, it is fundamentally published by DC Comics to complete the recent wave of Absolute reprints.

Regardless of the printing year, both Absolute editions collect the exact same concluding material:

Comic Issues: Collects issues #40–60 of the original Transmetropolitan series.
Bonus Material: A special introduction by Warren Ellis, Geof Darrow script-to-art comparisons, and redacted behind-the-scenes text files.
Presentation: Includes a heavy-duty graphical slipcase, oversized dimensions, and an attached cloth ribbon bookmark.
