This is a China 1897 Kiangnan raw silver dollar (~ 90% silver). It is in uncirculated condition, Y# 145, Kann# 66, LM# 210B. The coin is not certified. I don't know its authenticity as I am not capable of telling the difference. However, I think it is a restrike (my opinion). Please keep this in mind on bidding. On the other hand, I am providing the following data to prove the coin is a real silver coin:
Non-magnetic, exhibiting clear silver ring sound, weight 26.8 g, dimension 39.67 mm diameter x 2.40 mm thick. Specific gravity SG (tap water at room temperatures, balance not calibrated): 10.19, average from 3 measurements. Please review pictures for coin conditions. Shipping weight will be 2 oz.
