This is a very rare extinct mastodon skull zygomatic arch that was found in the Pleistocene of North Florida. It measures 11 3/4" long. Solid and heavy specimen, weighs 1lb 9.4oz. This is the bone that goes around the mastodon's eye ball. It is only the third extinct mastodon zygomatic arch that we've ever offered for sale - and this is probably the best one of the three. It was found in two pieces.
