New York Cake is a classic 1981 Italo disco and post-disco album by the Italian band Kano. Originally recorded for Full Time Records, the album was released in the United States by Mirage Records. It remains highly regarded for its solid club grooves, spare rhythms, and electro-funk synthesizer elements. The original vinyl pressing featured six core tracks, blending club-ready dance beats with soulful vocals.
