Giants 1930 Silver Season Pass Mounted on a Money Clip
When manufactured in 1930 by jeweler Lambert Bros., this silver season pass was minted as a standalone pocket watch fob or pendant. It had a small metal loop or ring at the top so the owner could attach it to a chain. The passes granted the bearer and a guest free, unlimited admission to every Giants game at the Polo Grounds for that year. The were issued to club executives, high-profile dignitaries, and select VIP season ticket holders
The image features an intricate baseball dugout or grandstand scene in high relief and is inscribed around the figures: "2 OUT", "BASES FULL", "3 BALLS", and "2 STRIKES" with GIANTS 1930 and CHAS A. STONEHAM PRES., across the bottom.
It measures about 2.5 x 1 inch, weighs 37.3 grams, and is marked and test sterling silver.
