The history behind this pattern, is that it belonged to my grandmother who grew up in the Great Depression. When she finally got a little bit of money, she wanted to dress dolls because she didn't have dolls when she was a child. Both she and my mother had a love for baby dolls, because of not having many dolls when they were children.
