Fiji issued this stunning large silver coin with malachite inserts in 2013 to celebrate the  FIFA World Cup, which was to take place in Brazil from 12 June to 13 July of 2014. Struck in .925 proof silver quality, the coin is another official tribute to this greatest and the largest single sporting event in the world. The obverse of the coin features the Coat of Arms of Republic of Fiji and the issuing year. 

The reverse is embellished with six real malachite inserts and displays a soccer player kicking a ball. Some of the iconic symbols of Brazil (such as Christ the Redeemer) are also depicted in the background.
